If your web page is having trouble connecting to the NOAH Editor, or the NOAH avatar doesn’t appear on the page, you may have to adjust some security settings to allow your computer to properly connect to the NOAH Server.

This example uses IE 6, but it is a similar process for other IE versions.

1. Click Tools, Internet options, Security, Trusted sites icon, Sites button.
2. Add the following Trusted Sites:
    a. http://editor.NOAHx.com
    b. https://editor.NOAHx.com
    c. http://www.NOAHx.com
    d. http://NOAHx.com
3. Click OK

If you are not able to view your “Wrapper” course from your local computer by clicking on the HTML page we provide, check the following:

Currently, for NOAH to work properly on your web page, you will need to use one of the following DOCTYPEs:

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/loose.dtd">

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01 Transitional//EN">

<!DOCTYPE HTML PUBLIC "-//W3C//DTD HTML 4.01//EN" "http://www.w3.org/TR/html4/strict.dtd">

We are always in the process of updating this list so check back and see if any new DOCTYPEs have been added.

Yes, you can edit a Voice-Action File as much as you want in reference to the Moves, Emotions, and etc.  However, once you compile the Voice-Action File, you can NOT change the actual audio file without using up a Voice-Action File Credit.  You can delete non-compiled Voice-Action Files and your Voice-Action File credit will be returned to your account.

When you create a Voice-Action File, you will be asked the folder name you want to store it in. You can either select a folder from the drop-down list or type in the name of a new folder in the drop-down list.  Be aware that the folders are virtual folders and you can not have two files named the same or the new file will overwrite the first file.

If NOAH does not show up on your web site when the NOAH Editor is closed, make sure the 'Make Live' button is active (green). I was wondering if you guys would accept suggestions in avatar additions.
I personally would enjoy playing around with the following avatars:
 
1. a shark or other aquatic animals.
2. a plant or small tree.
3. steam boat or sailboat! Hey you've got an airplane and a car...
4. a frog or toad - ribbit!!
5. hmm...maybe a snake?
6.  wizard or a dragon would be grand for D&D lovers and medieval genre gamers.
7. a knife! (don't ask..just a random one)
8. how about a classic round bomb with a sparking stem?
9. a moon avatar?
10. an orb of water? theres a flame...he's pretty hot.
11. ooh! a smiley face cloud!
12. dragon fly or wasp. or an ant. those would be cool
13. a piece of paper...give pencil avatar somebody to play with.
 
 
I do not recommend the following:
 
1. a paperclip.

Once you upgrade your account you will have to pay the difference in the cost of Voice-Action Files from your current account to your upgraded account for every Voice-Action File you want to continue using.

Yes, but NOAH can not move around like he does on a regular web site because MySpace does not allow JavaScript on its pages. First, create a Control File using an audio file (MP3 or WAV) or the Text-To-Speech tool in the NOAH Editor. Go to Page Setup, select your domain, and then select that Control File from the drop down list and click Save. You will see a button named "Page Code". Click it and then click OK. The code required for your MySpace account will be copied to the clipboard. Then go to your MySpace page, click Edit Profile and paste the code into whatever text box you want NOAH to appear.

When the editor is open, NOAH will always appear on every page that contains the NOAH JavaScript code. However, if the page is not registered in the Page Setup Section for the Domain it won't show up for the visitor.
